Why Spectator-ion?

Spectator Ion

While studying Chemistry it was fascinated to learn about the role of a spectator ion. In a chemical reaction, and in a particular environment, some reactants would react to form a product, and others would remain unchanged; the type of ions that remain unchanged are therefore given this name.  They are know as the observers who watch the other ions as they react!

As I write this blog, the purpose is to have a role that is similar to that of a spectator-ion.  My interest is to write about the things that I encounter and observe within in the science field, but mainly focusing on Neuroscience!!
